Join Akemi Johnson as she reads from her debut book "Night in the American Village," an examination of the relationship between the women living near US military bases in Okinawa and the servicemen stationed there. The reading will be followed by a conversation with historian Lily Welty Tamai. The event is co-sponsored by OAA, JANM and The New Press.
It is FREE in conjunction with the 15th Annual Museums Free-for-All, but RSVPs are encouraged by visiting: www.janm.org.

Online ticket sales end four (4) hours prior to a performance's scheduled start time. Same day ticket sales are available at the Ticket Office at least 1 hour prior to a performance's scheduled start time.
オンラインチケット販売はパフォーマンス開始時刻の4時間前に終了させて頂きます。当日券は開始時刻1時間前（場合により1時間前以上）にチケットオフィスで販売されます。
Parking permits are required for all events at El Camino College. You may purchase a $3 daily parking permit on the day of the performance (cash only) or when you purchase your tickets (online, in person, or via telephone). Parking permits must be displayed on dashboard. Should you have any questions regarding parking, please contact the Ticket Office or visit: www.elcamino.edu.
